I was then told to clear the Windows registry of any keys referring to Autodesk or Autocad. Voice tech support from my dealer suggested that I re-install everything including AutoCAD, but the problem remains. Everything works OK for a couple of days and then the same problem appears. If I check Help/About it says that my license is permanent. However, upon starting AutoCAD I do not get a request to re-authorise, (as per the instructions). I was running RTS 3.24 and have now upgraded to RTS 3.27 as per the instructions, ie log in as administrator. Numerous dialog boxes would appear and upon exiting all I would get a Fatal Error closing AutoCAD. However, about a month ago I started to get the C-Dilla license manager wanting to unload or exit. I have been running AutoCAD 2002 with Windows XP Pro since the latter half of 2001 without problems.
